My interests in fitness and medicine led me to specialize in fitness programs that address the needs of people affected by serious health conditions. In my years of experience, I have found that fitness is an indispensable tool in health management, especially when managing a chronic illness, recovering from a serious health condition, or recovering from surgery. However, these situations are often complicated and need an appropriately designed fitness program that limits the risk of injury while maximizing benefits. I create programs with the goal of helping my clients to overcome limitations, stop aches and pains, and improve how their body moves so they can get the most out of every day. My favorite part of my job is hearing from clients that they have become strong enough, flexible enough or have enough energy to do something that they were unable to do before.
I am a 91-year old three-time cancer survivor who has been Jessica's client for about ten years. Before she started working with me, I could have been described as a life-long exercise resistor who found herself disabled by radical cancer surgery. My family found Jessica and insisted I allow her to work with me to regain at least some of what I had lost. I went along with the plan only to appease them. Jessica's pleasing personality soon won me over. She gently introduced simple stretching and strengthening moves. Then she added more demanding routines, which I thought were entirely impossible for someone of my age and physical condition. At first, I thought I could never perform such difficult exercises, but within a week or two, I found I could indeed carry them out with a little grit and determination. After ten years of working with Jessica, I can honestly report that I now do exercise routines I could never have done in my 20s and 30s. With her encouragement, I try new movements and soon perform them as a regular part of my workout. Jessica is endlessly patient, always encouraging as she brings me to ever increasing levels of difficulty. I would recommend Jessica to anyone who needs to increase their agility and physical strength. She is excellent at what she does, and she does it with genuine warmth and a great sense of humor. I always enjoy our workout sessions.

Jessica has been a key component of my father’s health plan since his 2019 Parkinson’s diagnosis. She tailors workout routines specifically for his condition and his level of fitness; focusing on general strength, balance, fine motor, voice and facial expression training. In addition, Jessica regularly introduces new exercises designed to challenge my dad, while addressing, and working on, deficits his neurologist identifies. Her knowledge of the human body is remarkable and I never worry about my father taking direction from her. Jessica is motivating, compassionate, incredibly reliable and thinks outside of the box. She is, far and away, one of the most important elements of my father’s health maintenance and enhancement.
